About

Give me a site with an issue, and you’ll find a happy SEO.

I’m a Senior Technical SEO Manager with a background in technical SEO, web analytics, and solving the kinds of problems that tend to live somewhere between search engines, websites, data, and engineering teams.

I got into SEO almost completely by chance. After graduating from Virginia Tech and working through a few internships — including a record label and radio station — I moved to the Washington, DC area and landed at an agency where I was introduced to search engine optimization. I quickly realized that I loved figuring out how websites work, why search engines sometimes struggle with them, and what can be done to fix it.

Since then, I’ve worked across agencies and large-scale publishing environments, tackling everything from crawling and indexation issues to JavaScript rendering, migrations, canonicalization, structured data, internal linking, and analytics implementations.

Currently, at an in-house, enterprise-level publisher, I work with Product, Engineering, and brand teams across a portfolio of 60+ websites, helping ensure that technical changes support search performance and revenue.

When I’m not thinking about SEO, I’m probably watching a horror movie, watching wrestling, going to a metal/hardcore/punk show, or playing softball.
